Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H Photo offer the best MacBook deals and often price match each other. Here are the prices to look for when shopping for your MacBook:
13-inch MacBook Air M1: It's the oldest MacBook still available, but it's an amazing value. Powered by an M1 CPU, it offers just enough muscle for everyday work. It's sold for an all-time price low of $749 at Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H Photo. Finding this price is somewhat easy and we recommend waiting for it if possible.
13-inch MacBook Air M2: The Editor's Choice MacBook Air M2 has hit an all-time price low of $899 a few times this past summer. Amazon is always sold out of this model, so we recommend checking Best Buy or B&H Photo for this price point, which appears to show up at least once a month. It's the best MacBook value hands down.
15-inch MacBook Air M2: The new 15-inch MacBook Air M2 has hit an all-time low of $1,099 a few times. It's still an expensive machine, but if you want that bigger screen — look for the $1,099 price at Amazon.
13-inch MacBook Pro M2: Deals on this machine are getting harder to find. Although it's hit an all-time low of $1,049, you can usually find it in stock for $1,199 at Best Buy or B&H.
14-inch MacBook Pro M2 Pro: On a few rare occasions, this machine has hit an all-time price low of $1,699, which is $300 off. If you find this price — act on it as it's not to often you'll see it.
16-inch MacBook Pro M2 Pro: The priciest MacBook in Apple's lineup has hit an all-time price low of $2,249 at Amazon. While it's rare to find this price, it's not completely uncommon, so if you can wait it out — we'd recommend waiting for a major retail holiday before buying this machine.
